Members vote no to councils proposal

Last night (thursday) the Acorn Members voted a majority no vote to the councils proposal of moving into the Addie Mills Centre. Some of the deciding factors were, the stage was too small with no backstage or wings, no daytime access for set preparation, dwindling and ageing membership.
On the plus side Acorn is not shutting down but choosing to be a travelling theatre until a suitable venue can be found.
